Lance J. Wilkerson

Lance is a partner in the firm’s Birmingham office. He has broad experience advising start-up and established companies in the areas of business formation, mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, securities compliance, and day to day general corporate matters. Lance’s practice extends to handling a high volume of financings, leases, sales and dispositions of aircraft, rolling stock and other equipment on behalf of leading financial institutions. He also has significant experience in syndication transactions involving equipment, including portfolio purchases and single transaction assignments. Lance also advises clients who seek to gain a competitive advantage from their intellectual property. As a member of the firm’s Technology Transactions Team, Lance combines his broad transactional and intellectual property experience to counsel clients on copyright, technology, and licensing issues pertaining to software. He also regularly assists clients with the selection, protection, and licensing of trademarks.
