Michael W. Lindsey

A native of Birmingham, Michael W. Lindsey received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in 1992. While an undergraduate, Michael was a member of the 1992 National Championship football team. After graduation, Michael enlisted in the U.S. Army as an infantryman. In 1996, Michael graduated from the U.S. Army Officer Candidate School and was commissioned as an Infantry Officer. During his 8 years of military service, Michael led combat infantry units in the 3rd Infantry Division and 1st Cavalry Division. Upon completion of his military service, Michael returned to Alabama and began his legal studies at the University of Alabama School of Law, where he received his J.D. cum laude in 2004. In addition to operating his own firm, Michael has practiced as a litigation attorney with Sirote & Permutt, P.C. and Weaver Tidmore, LLC. Michael is married to the former Laurie Anne Kimsey, of Birmingham. The family also includes Evan (9), Alex (7) and Kimsey (2). The Lindseys are members of Shades Mountain Baptist Church in Vestavia Hills.
