Sarah E. Hoffmann

Sarah is a member of Johnston Barton's Business & Tax Group. She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School (J.D., 2012), where she attended as a William A. McDonnell Scholar. During law school, Sarah was a student notes editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law and a three-year member of the Vanderbilt Bar Association. Sarah also spent four years as a writing consultant for the Vanderbilt Writing Studio. Sarah received her undergraduate degree from the Vanderbilt University College of Arts & Science. She triple majored in art history, English, and political science and graduated summa cum laude as a Phi Beta Kappa member in 2009. She was an ENGAGE Scholar for Vanderbilt Law School, a Robert C. Byrd Scholar, and the winner of the undergraduate research grant for art history. Sarah was also a member of the Vanderbilt Honor Council and the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys travelling, visiting art exhibits, and playing her flute for weddings and church services. She is also learning how to fiddle and is slowly working on her golf game.
