John B. Thorsness

Mr. Thorsness was a lifelong Alaskan. Before attending law school, he was a commercial fisherman, a "hired hand," and a congressional staffer. He was admitted to the Alaska Bar Association in 1982. He joined the firm in June 2004 and focuses his practice on the defense of product liability, personal injury, and wrongful death litigation. Mr. Thorsness has tried cases in the state courts of Alaska and in the U.S. District Court for the District of Alaska. He has also argued appeals before the Alaska Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
