Cheyenne Walsh

Cheyenne Walsh's practice focuses on environmental, safety and health issues, as well as public advocacy. She represents public and private clients on water, wastewater, hazardous substance and other environmental matters. Cheyenne has extensive experience navigating regulatory and legislative processes at the local, state and federal levels. Prior to law school, she worked on government and transportation issues as an intern at the Arizona State Senate and later spent several years lobbying on behalf of Arizona cities and towns on issues related to infrastructure, land development and utilities. Cheyenne is an accomplished public speaker, having given numerous presentations before legislative committees, city councils and professional association conferences. While in law school, Cheyenne worked in Washington DC for United States Senator Jon Kyl analyzing regulatory and legislative proposals on a broad range of environmental issues, including NEPA and mineral resource development. She also interned at the Arizona Attorney General's office, gaining experience with the Arizona Office of Administrative Hearings and clerked at a mid-sized law firm, where she focused on commercial litigation. Cheyenne is active in the community, having previously served on Governor Napolitano's Task Force for Affordable Housing and Arizona's Traffic Safety Advisory Council. In law school, she organized student volunteer opportunities on the Community Service Board and participated in Lawyers for Literacy and the Volunteer Lawyers Program.
