David Iversen

David joined the Kelly Law Team after serving as a Partner at Hacker Murphy, LLP, where he adeptly managed a demanding caseload of over 100 litigation and trial-ready cases. He has first-chaired more than a dozen jury trials and consistently achieved outstanding results in mediations and arbitrations, securing favorable resolutions for his clients. Among his notable accomplishments is a $9.5 million settlement in a complex motor carrier crash involving 18 estates and billion-dollar corporations—the highest settlement in that county’s history. David's expertise encompasses catastrophic injury litigation, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and class actions. His unwavering dedication to legal excellence has earned him industry recognition, including being named a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” (2017-2025) and a Best Lawyers “Ones to Watch” (2021-2025) for personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability, and commercial litigation. Beyond the courtroom, David is committed to mentoring young attorneys and advancing legal education. He has led law clerk programs, overseen new litigation associates, and actively participated in professional and charitable organizations. He serves as a Board Member for the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association, Albany County Bar Foundation, and the American Cancer Society of the Capital Region. David earned his Juris Doctor from Albany Law School and his Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Albany. Licensed to practice in Arizona and New York, he brings a wealth of litigation experience, a strategic mindset, and a relentless pursuit of justice to the Kelly Law Team’s growing Litigation Department.
