Laurence R. Sharlot

Mr. Sharlot practices in the areas of insurance bad faith, insurance coverage, insurance defense litigation (personal injury and property damage claims) and medical malpractice. Mr. Sharlot has successfully tried (both jury and bench trials) and arbitrated over 200 cases. Mr. Sharlot joined Jennings, Haug and Cunningham, LLP in 1994 and became a Partner in 1996. Mr. Sharlot graduated from Illinois State University in 1986 (B.S. in Finance) and John Marshall Law School in 1990 (J.D., with Distinction). Mr. Sharlot graduated with honors from John Marshall Law School (top 10%), was a member and author of the John Marshall Law Review and was honored as a lifetime member of John Marshall Law School’s Order of the Coif. Mr. Sharlot is also a 1994 graduate of Arizona’s College of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Sharlot started his legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Jefferson Lankford, Court of Appeals of Arizona from 1990-91.
