Michael Slugocki

Michael Slugocki was raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 2009 where he majored in Political science. After college he returned to his birth city of Chicago for law school and attended DePaul University College of Law. During law school he clerked with the Chicago Transit Authority where he got his first litigation experience in depositions, arbitrations, trial work. Following law school he practiced with a highly respected workers compensation defense firm. Michael returned to Arizona in 2016 and began working for a national disability firm. Michael likes to say he was a “travel lawyer” as he represented claimants across the Southwest United States. He has represented claimants in front of the Social Security Administration in 14 states and 34 cities. This experience taught him how to work with people from diverse backgrounds and unique histories. Michael is involved with several local community groups and volunteers his time to protect people’s right to vote.
