Steven G. Ford

Steve Ford's practice focuses on successfully addressing the litigation and strategic needs of businesses and the individuals who own, operate, and work with such entities. The majority of Mr. Ford's practice is devoted to representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil and commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and other dispute resolution settings. Steve handles all phases of litigation, including identifying and developing claims and defenses, preparing necessary and appropriate filings, conducting effective discovery, motion practice, and other pre-trial tasks, and presenting cases to judges, arbitrators, and juries. As part of his practice, Mr. Ford advises individuals and businesses in contract and entity formation, preservation and prosecution of their business interests, and litigation avoidance and strategy. Mr. Ford is able to draw on his diverse experience representing clients with unique legal needs in a wide variety of settings. This experience, including his years with a large national law firm, allows Steve to provide top-tier legal advice with the added benefits of highly personalized attention and one-on-one service. Steve has called the Valley home for over 40 years and attended elementary school, junior high, and high school in Tempe. In 1995, he graduated cum laude from the Arizona State University College of Law (now known as the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law), and before entering private practice, served as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas C. Kleinschmidt and the Honorable Michael D. Ryan during their respective tenures on the Arizona Court of Appeals. Steve is licensed in Arizona state and federal courts and in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and is a member of the Arizona State Bar, the Maricopa County Bar Association, and the Scottsdale Bar Association.
