About Amanda Kennedy

I was raised in Elkins, Arkansas, and from a young age, I knew I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to help others during difficult times. After earning my undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas–Fort Smith, I moved to Central Arkansas to attend the William H. Bowen School of Law—and fell in love with the area that I now call home. Since becoming licensed to practice law in Arkansas, I have focused my practice on family law, guardianships, and domestic relations. I serve as both Attorney Ad Litem for children and as Parent Counsel for parents involved in Department of Human Services matters. These roles allow me to advocate for families from multiple perspectives and to ensure that the best interests of children remain at the heart of every case. As a parent myself, I understand that family law issues are often deeply emotional and personal. My approach is grounded in empathy, communication, and practical guidance to help clients navigate challenges and work toward stability and healing. Outside of the courtroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, running, attending sporting events, and cheering on my favorite teams—the Arkansas Razorbacks, Green Bay Packers, and St. Louis Cardinals. I also serve as an Area Representative for the Young Lawyers Section of the Arkansas Bar Association, where I enjoy connecting with and supporting other attorneys across the state.
