J. Shane Cox Esq.

J. Shane Cox serves as Chief Legal Counsel and co-founder of the Jurist Law Group, PLLC, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mr. Cox is a Louisiana native who prides himself on the strong relationships he keeps with his clients. In 2006, after years of working in mental health hospitals, he graduated with his bachelor's degree in psychology and moved to Arkansas where he attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock - William H. Bowen School of Law to obtain his Juris Doctorate. Shortly after passing the Arkansas bar exam in 2011, he was asked back to his alma mater as an adjunct professor, and for seven years he taught law students about the Uniform Commercial Code, Secured Transactions, and Sales Transactions. Mr. Cox is an accredited attorney with the Veterans Administration, specializing in aid and attendance benefits for senior wartime veterans and their surviving spouses. He currently practices in elder law, adult guardianship, estate planning, VA, Medicaid, asset protection, and long-term care planning. He is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of Arkansas.
