Alanna D. Coopersmith

Alanna Coopersmith serves as Of Counsel to Lamano Law Office, where she has been a valued collaborator for over five years, handling complex and serious cases with expertise and dedication. We are proud to have her on our team. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Alanna practices criminal defense across all Bay Area courts. She is known for her compassionate approach and relentless advocacy for her clients, who face charges ranging from DUI and drug trafficking to white-collar crimes and murder. Prior to joining Lamano Law, Alanna worked as a deputy public defender at the Solano County Public Defender’s Office and volunteered at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office. Alanna’s introduction to the legal field began with a prestigious clerkship for United States District Court Judge Stewart Dalzell. She later gained invaluable litigation experience as an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, a leading firm in New York. Alanna holds a degree from Brown University and earned her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was an editor for the Law Review. Committed to giving back to her community, Alanna serves on the governing board for the Alameda County Bar Association’s Court-Appointed Attorney Program. While not fluent, she speaks Spanish and strives to bridge communication barriers with her clients. In her personal time, Alanna enjoys running, playing tennis, and spending weekends with her family.
