Alec Medlock

Alec Medlock advises clients on a range of corporate and transactional matters, with a focus on emerging companies and equity financings. He regularly assists startups, investors, and growing businesses with entity formation, fundraising, governance, and commercial contracts. His practice also includes real estate transactions and debt financings, including acquisitions, dispositions, and secured lending. Alec brings a strong analytical approach to his work, supported by a background in education and a high level of technical proficiency, including advanced Excel modeling to support deal analysis and negotiation. He earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and holds a B.A. in Philosophy from UCLA. Outside of work, Alec enjoys reading both fiction and non-fiction, particularly in the areas of literature, history, and philosophy.
