Alexandra J. Minnick

Alexandra J. Minnick is an associate at Flicker Kerin, LLP. Ms. Minnick approaches each case with empathy, compassion, and a client-centered focus to advocate for clients in and out of the courtroom. Ms. Minnick is a dedicated and skilled attorney with a strong foundation in family law and public interest advocacy. A Bay Area native, she earned her Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law, graduating with specializations in Family Law and Public Interest Law. During her legal studies, she demonstrated consistent academic excellence, receiving multiple awards including the Witkin and CALI Awards in Legal Research and Writing and Professional Responsibility, as well as awards in Corporate and Commercial Law and Labor and Employment Law. She was also a regular presence on the Dean’s List. Ms. Minnick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies from the University of San Francisco. Following law school, she served as a post-graduate fellow with Legal Access Alameda, where she contributed to the Shriver Custody Project. In this role, she connected low-income clients with pro bono family law attorneys and supported self-represented parties through the Alameda County Family Law Day of Court program. Before joining Flicker Kerin, LLP, Ms. Minnick worked as an eviction defense attorney under San Francisco’s Right to Counsel program, advocating for low-income tenants navigating the unlawful detainer process. Her breadth of legal experience includes externships with the San Francisco Department of Police Accountability, the Women’s Employment Rights Clinic, Equal Rights Advocates, and the Family Violence Appellate Project. These roles have equipped her with a diverse legal perspective and deepened her commitment to client-centered advocacy. Ms. Minnick brings a confident presence to the courtroom, backed by extensive litigation experience. Her clients benefit from her thoughtful approach, legal acumen, and dedication to achieving favorable outcomes. Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Minnick enjoys international travel—particularly to historic destinations—and exploring independent bookstores in search of compelling mysteries and thrillers.
