Cheryl Cruz

Cheryl Cruz is a family law attorney who brings dedication, compassion, and expertise to her practice. Licensed to practice in California since December 2022, Cheryl focuses exclusively on family law matters, including divorce, parentage, custody and visitation, child and spousal support, and domestic violence restraining orders. Cheryl’s passion for advocacy began during her studies at the University of California, Riverside, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Determined to make a difference in people’s lives, she went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School in 2022. Throughout her legal journey, Cheryl gained extensive hands-on experience. She externed and clerked with notable organizations, including the Harriet Buhai Center for Family Law and the Disability Rights and Education Defense Fund (DREDF), where she developed a deep understanding of family law and the challenges clients face. Following law school, Cheryl served as a legal fellow at LevittQuinn Family Law Center. There, she represented clients in hearings and handled cases involving dissolution, post-judgment modifications, and protective orders, honing her advocacy skills and courtroom presence. Now, as an associate attorney, Cheryl is committed to guiding her clients through life’s most difficult transitions. She approaches every case with empathy and determination, tailoring her strategies to achieve the best outcomes for her clients while providing unwavering support during emotional times.
