Diana L. Winfrey

Diana Winfrey specializes in representing insurers in coverage and related matters, with an emphasis on construction matters and general liability claims. Ms. Winfrey attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she graduated in 1978 with a B.A. in Spanish, with departmental honors. She also received her J.D. at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1984. She is admitted to practice before all California State Courts, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, as well as the United States Supreme Court. Litigation • Represented insurer in coverage dispute regarding coverage for purported additional insured accused of sexual harassment to insured employee during performance of construction work. • Represented insurer to pursue contribution from other insurer in medical malpractice claim. • Represented insurer in claim involving construction defects to residential property and dispute with co-carrier for contribution. • Represented insurer in bodily injury claim to resolve tender by purported additional insured. • Represented insurer in claim involving death of an individual during construction activities, including issue of whether the decedent was considered an employee under the subject general liability policy.
