Ian M. Cooper

Ian Cooper has represented injured workers over last 29 years in medical treatment disputes, disability awards and denied claim appeals. Unlike many other Workers’ Compensation attorneys, Ian actually welcomes the opportunity to go to trial to protect injured workers’ rights, and consistently does so. He has been selected by his peers for Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating (AV) for legal ability and ethical standards. He is a Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Cooper earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1992 and was admitted to the California bar the same year. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1984 from Humboldt State University. Mr. Cooper is a member of the State Bar of California and the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association.
