John Judge Gutierrez

With more than 33 years of legal experience, including more than 23 years on the bench, Judge Gutierrez has handled thousands of cases in his Workers Compensation Career. As an Attorney John Judge Gutierrez specialized in Workers' Compensation cases and became the staff counsel for State Compensation Insurance Fund. He subsequently became house counsel for Industrial Indemnity Insurance Company before he was appointed as a Workers' Compensation Administrative Judge. As a Workers Compensation Judge, he presided for over 23 years before he recently retired from the Van Nuys Workers Compensation Appeals Board.
