Jonathan P. Cothran

After growing up in Carmel, Indiana, Mr. Cothran attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN where he received a B.A. in Law & Society. Three years later, Mr. Cothran received his concurrent M.B.A. and J.D. from Argosy University and Western State University College of Law in Orange County, California. Mr. Cothran is licensed to practice in California State courts and the Central District of California Federal courts. During law school, Mr. Cothran worked with a local attorney assisting families with developmentally disabled children gain conservatorships. Mr. Cothran later worked with an employment litigation firm representing employees who have been wrongfully terminated or who had been taken advantage of by their employers. Continuing his passion for helping those in need, Mr. Cothran now heads his firm's Bankruptcy law division, and has gained extensive experience in consumer bankruptcy practice and consumer protection.
