Joseph Lascano

Joseph Lascano is an Associate Attorney at Chapman Zaragoza, LLP, where he contributes to the firm’s civil litigation practice. Prior to joining the firm, Joseph served as a Post-Bar Law Clerk and Student Advocate at the New American Legal Clinic at San Joaquin College of Law. There, he assisted clients with a variety of immigration issues, including asylum, family-based petitions, and naturalization, while also participating in USCIS interviews and providing community education on legal options for relief. This experience instilled in him a client-first approach and a deep understanding of how legal outcomes affect real lives. Most recently, Joseph worked in insurance defense, representing clients in automobile accident claims. This role sharpened his litigation skills and furthered his understanding of the nuances of civil procedure and defense strategy. Joseph earned his Juris Doctorate from San Joaquin College of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communication from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
