Kate Bilous

Ms. Bilous is an Associate Attorney at DeMaria Law Firm. She has been an attorney since 2011. Ms. Bilous is licensed to practice law in California and Illinois. She has extensive experience in various litigation practice areas, including Employment Law, Contract Law, and Administrative Law, with an emphasis on civil litigation. Ms. Bilous's legal experience extends from general to complex legal issues resolution and international legal matters. Ms. Bilous completed her legal degree with High Honors from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and graduated Top 5% of her class. Ms. Bilous has worked with domestic and international clients in various industries and handling multiple U.S. and international legal matters. Ms. Bilous started her legal career in 2011 when she was licensed to practice law in Ukraine. She litigated high-profile civil and criminal cases and served as counsel for international non-governmental organizations. Ms. Bilous moved to the United States in 2018, passing the Illinois Bar Exam in 2019 and the California Bar Exam, in October 2020. Before joining DeMaria Law Firm, Ms. Bilous worked in the administrative litigation field, representing clients at over 600 administrative hearings per year. Prior to coming to DeMaria Law Firm, Ms. Bilous also performed extensive legal consulting work advising on Employment law, Business Law, Intellectual Property Law, International Law, Corporate Law, Arbitration, Administrative Law, Immigration, and IT Law matters. Ms. Bilous is a member of the American Bar Association and Illinois State Bar Association and has been admitted to the State Bar of California. Ms. Bilous is multilingual and fluent in English, Ukrainian and Russian. Ms. Bilous raises two children with her husband and enjoys spending spare time with them, walking and exploring nature.
