Marc Pelta

Marc Pelta is a former prosecutor with extensive experience in criminal litigation from the pre-filing stage following an arrest/police report to sentencing following a conviction from trial or a plea agreement. Marc represents clients (adult/juvenile) accused of any kinds of crimes throughout the State of California. Furthermore, Marc represents clients in some civil matters such as: Domestic Violence Restraining Orders, Civil Harassment Restraining Orders & Elder Abuse Restraining Orders. Finally, Marc represents clients involved in State Licensing Board Investigations & Hearings. Criminal charges can result from addiction problems or mental health issues, and he works diligently to convince prosecutors to impose sentencing alternatives, such as drug abuse treatment and counseling, instead of incarceration or other harsh sentences. Marc is an aggressive advocate for his clients, and he has a reputation among his colleagues and clients of thinking outside the box when it comes to developing client-centered solutions. Marc is admitted to practice before all State of California courts, in addition to Federal Courts, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
