About Maria Hutt
A Toronto native, Maria Hutt earned her bachelor’s degree with high distinction from the University of Toronto. She earned her J.D. degree from the University of California Irvine School of Law, where she was a member of the UCI Law Review and the UCI Journal of International, Transnational, and Comparative Law. During law school, Maria also competed in the 2022 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, where she placed in the top 25% of all oralists. She spearheaded the expansion of UCI’s mock trial program to compete at the national level for the first time, where she placed as a Finalist at the Texas Young Lawyers’ Association National Trial Competition Southern California Regionals 2023. Maria was admitted to the California bar in 2023.
