Mark C. Le Clerc

Mark has been practicing law in the San Francisco Bay Area for over seventeen years, having graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1996. He has extensive and successful litigation and trial expertise. Mark is proud of his reputation for loyalty to his clients' causes and his willingness to speak frankly, plainly, and directly about a client's legal situation. Communication is key. Mark is personally accessible and keeps clients well-informed when issues arise. Mark routinely handles employment disputes between employees and their employers. He frequently represents employees in discrimination, harassment, and retaliation matters. Mark also represents employees in pay disputes with their employers. He also has extensive experience in business litigation, including fiduciary and contract disputes. In addition to Employment Law practice, Mark handles complicated family law matters. Included in this are divorces between persons of high net-worth, or which involve the dissolution of, or evaluation of, tightly held businesses. Additionally, Mark has had great success in matters involving conservatorships and elder abuse. In law school, Mark earned the highly prestigious American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in the studies of Family and Matrimonial Law. The American Jurisprudence award is only bestowed in certain, limited subjects. The award is given solely to the person achieving the top grade in the Family Law class. Mark previously worked for Bowles & Verna LLP, a local law firm renowned for its expertise and success on civil litigation matters. Mark's practice extends throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before all courts of the State of California. Mark is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California (Federal Court) and the United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth District (western United States).
