Matthew K. Skarin

Matthew Skarin is a Certified Family Law Specialist, a CPA and has his California Real Estate Broker License. Prior to law school, Mr. Skarin worked for the accounting firms of Deloitte & Touche and Miller and Co., doing both tax and compliance work. Matthew Skarin is a 2009 graduate of the acclaimed Juris Doctorate program at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California. During law school, Mr. Skarin clerked for Judge Bluebond in the Federal Bankruptcy Court in Los Angeles and was an extern in the Clinical Honors Program with the California Attorney General's Office in the Business and Tax division. Additionally, Matthew was a staff member of the Loyola Law School Entertainment Law Review. Mr. Skarin received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics, with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Mr. Skarin is an active member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. His practice has been strictly focused on the issues of family law litigation, including child custody and visitation, spousal support, child support, property division, business valuation and judgment enforcement. Mr. Skarin's rare skill set of being both an attorney and a CPA makes him uniquely qualified for handling high-asset and financially complicated dissolutions.
