Mazen Khatib

Mazen Khatib is a dedicated advocate for working individuals, passionately defending their rights. His experience lies in handling cases involving employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination. Additionally, he provides legal representation to those who have been unfairly denied wages, meal and rest breaks, medical leave and a safe working environment. Mazen is experienced in representing both employees and employers, giving him a unique understanding of employment litigation. With this experience, he gains insight into the strategic thinking and decision-making processes of employers. He uses these dynamics to the advantage of his clients. Mazen successfully resolves his clients' claims by utilizing all available legal tools. He has defeated many employer motions for summary judgment and used the discovery process to compel the production of incriminating evidence. Mazen has taken depositions of high-level executives involved in employee misconduct and prepared cases for trial. These actions have led to the successful resolution of lawsuits on behalf of his clients. Mazen received his J.D. from Loyola Law School. During his time there, he excelled in the Scott Moot Court competition, making it to the finals and earning the title of "Best Oralist." Additionally, Mazen proudly represented Loyola in the prestigious National Moot Court competition, where he competed against teams from other esteemed law schools. Mazen is affiliated with the California Employment Lawyers Association, the California Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association and other prestigious legal organizations. Mazen finds joy in the company of his loved ones. He takes pleasure in both playing and watching basketball.
