
About Naira Soghbatyan
Naira Soghbatyan is of counsel with our Firm, where she handles various environmental and land use matters. Naira specializes in mandamus law and litigation, having participated in extensive motion practice, trial and appellate work. Naira has also previously handled immigration, personal injury, employment law, and general civil litigation. Naira received her law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Languages and Literature, summa cum laude, in 1999 from Yerevan State University in Yerevan, Armenia. Naira is fluent in Armenian and Russian. In Armenia, Naira worked as a translator/interpreter for the Armenian government and thereafter for a USAID-funded American organization, facilitating the implementation of health and social reforms in Armenia and the development of the associated legal framework. Outside of the profession, Naira enjoys playing the piano and spending time at the beach.
