Orestes A. Cross

I began my legal career as few lawyers do. I began as a client. In 2000, some friends and I started a business. A little more than a year later there was a company dispute and I found it necessary to obtain the advice of counsel. I enjoyed the strategizing, the discovery process, the formulation and execution of an attack plan that is part of pretrial litigation and litigation. As an added benefit, the events introduced me to my new legal career. In 2003, I began working at a boutique law firm specializing in commercial and business litigation. The challenges presented by each case, along with the fluctuating dynamic of people and their personalities provided the excitement I required from a profession. In 2006 Mr. Walston and I began working closely together on various trials which were extremely successfully. We soon thereafter created our partnership. We have successfully brought suit against goliath billion-dollar companies like Chevron and Itochu, as well as the California Department of Corrections and prevailed. We have recovered millions of dollars for our clients. We pride ourselves on our ability to take cases we believe in to trial. We prepare your case for trial on day one.
