Peter E. Cummings

Peter E. Cummings is a civil attorney who practices throughout California, and wherever his clients need him. His primary focus is on tort, contract, and constitutional litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts. His litigation experience includes products and premises liability, transportation - based personal injury matters, maritime and admiralty cases, defamation, nuisance, and privacy injuries, wrongful death, contract and partnership disputes, Business and Professions Code violations, employment disputes, ADA matters, First and Fourteenth Amendment violations, and matters brought under the California Tort Claims Act. Mr. Cummings specializes in the preparation of complex legal documents, including summary judgment motions, appellate briefs, and business and commercial agreements, and has been with Gray & Prouty for eight years, working out of the San Luis Obispo office. His non-legal academic/intellectual interests include philosophy, and in particular the philosophy of language.
