Scott Thomas Green

Since being admitted to the California State Bar in 1978, Scott has been practicing law in the areas of construction, business, employment, and real estate, representing contractors, property owners, and others in the construction industry. As an experienced trial attorney, Scott has tried and arbitrated more than 200 cases. On the transactional side of law he has counseled and assisted hundreds of business clients on legal issues ranging from the formation and operation of new businesses to the sale and dissolution of existing businesses. After graduating with honors from California State University at Pomona in 1974 with a degree in Public Administration, Scott put himself through law school working in construction while attending night classes at the University Of San Diego School Of Law. After graduating from law school in 1978, Scott formed Hared Construction Company, Inc. with his father and gained valuable insights into the construction industry by working as a project superintendent and manager in addition to acting as the corporation’s in house legal counsel for ten years. In 1985, Scott founded Easy Law Construction Notices, Inc. to help contractors and others in the construction industry secure and collect what they earn. Today, Easy Law provides professionally prepared preliminary notices, mechanics liens, stop payment notices, bond claims, and collection services for hundreds of clients throughout California. Along with managing The Green Law Group, LLP, Scott Green is the CEO of Easy Law Construction Notices, a member of the Ventura County Contractors Association, past President of the Moorpark Chamber of Commerce, former member of the advisory council for the Boys and Girls Club of Moorpark. Scott and his wife Patricia have two adult daughters and enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and attending Dodger games.
