Stephen M. Nagy

Stephen has had extensive experience navigating high-conflict divorces, domestic violence restraining orders, contentious custody disputes, awards of spousal support, proper calculations of child support, advancing and terminating guardianships, and other more obscure family law issues, all in a first chair capacity. Stephen’s practice also includes numerous high net worth family law matters, including those involving dissolution of marriage, property division, spousal support, child support, custody disputes, and parentage. Stephen utilizes a diverse skill set focused on providing structure to the oft chaotic nature of family law disputes, bringing a thoughtful and thorough approach to each client, and is resolute in taking an aggressive or calming approach, whichever is presently required throughout a case’s lifetime. As a former Michigan native, Stephen completed his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and stayed to obtain his Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University, College of Law.
