About Alan L. Pasternack
Alan Pasternack is a tax and transactional attorney specializing in business and real estate transactions involving tax advantaged investing and community development. Alan represents developers, non-profit community development corporations, and community development entities in structuring, negotiating and documenting transactions in which a significant portion of the financing is derived from federal tax incentives, particularly new markets tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, low-income housing tax credits, and tax-exempt bonds, and government loans and grants. Alan's experience includes transactions using multiple financing sources, including transactions twinning new markets tax credits with historic rehabilitation tax credits, and transactions involving new markets tax credits and tax exempt bonds. Alan is active in the ABA Forum on Affordable Housing and Community Development Law, is a regular speaker at Forum conferences, and chairs the Forum's New Markets Tax Credits committee.
