Ben Smart

Ben wants clients to walk away with the best outcome possible. Usually that is achieved through creative problem solving and negotiation, which allows a client to directly control their outcome. But when things don’t go perfectly, Ben is the attorney you’ll want in your corner to advise and advocate for you in court. Ben has extensive experience in litigation, having worked as a prosecutor in multiple states, on cases ranging from DUIs, to felony domestic violence, juvenile cases, and SVU. His experience makes him comfortable litigating even the most complex cases, and allows him to adapt immediately to all the surprises that can come with a trial. Despite his litigation background, Ben loves negotiation as well. He enjoys working with clients, and understanding each person’s unique perspective and values, which allows him to work with them to create what they believe is the best solution to their situation. When not working with clients, Ben is trying to get outdoors and stay active. He enjoys softball, disc golf, and taking a kayak out to search for the next biggest fish.
