
About Christian Smith
Chris has experience on both sides of the aisle having worked at multiple plaintiff’s firms before focusing his practice primarily on insurance defense. He specializes in personal injury, construction law, transportation litigation, and a variety of employment related issues. Chris earned a Political Science degree from Princeton University where he was also a member of the football team. Prior to receiving his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law, he worked at a technology start up in New York City in a client facing role where he developed a passion for working with and advocating for clients to best suit their needs. Chris was a member of the moot court team while at Washburn and received a CALI Award for Future Excellence in Conflict of Laws. While at Princeton, he published a thesis on the effect of multi-year scholarship reform on academic index scores and retention rates of student athletes.
