Christopher John Lane

Supporting businesses is the primary focus of Mr. Lane's law practice. He helps clients with all aspects of business law including helping to structure and finance startups, negotiating the purchase or sale of a business, guiding clients through intellectual property issues and business disputes, and in the case that the situation may arise, advising businesses and owners on bankruptcy. Prior to attending law school, he worked in the Boulder technology industry for six years, and was a minority shareholder in a small software startup. During law school he managed the entrepreneurial law clinic, a free legal service provided to the startup community. He has been involved with startup companies from the ground up in both business and legal roles. An entrepreneur himself, he also enjoys brainstorming about the next big idea, and you can often find him taking advantage of the Colorado outdoors on a road or mountain bike, hiking with his dogs, or downhill skiing.
