Daniel J. Lowenberg

Daniel J. Lowenberg is an attorney admitted to practice in both Colorado and Texas. Born in Dallas, Texas, Daniel received his B.A. in English from Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois, in 1991 and his Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas, in 2005, where he served on the Law Journal. After two years of general civil practice, Daniel opened his own firm specializing in bankruptcy law and litigation and debtor and creditor rights for over three years. Daniel represents both debtors and creditors in Chapter 7 liquidations and Chapter 11, Chapter 12, and Chapter 13 reorganizations, and in prebankruptcy creditor rights proceedings, including: Cram-down litigation; relief from stay proceedings; automatic stay litigation; involuntary petitions; adversary litigation in bankruptcy court; and bankruptcy appeals. Additional practice areas include agricultural law, conservatorships and guardianships, consumer rights, and civil litigation. Prior to the practice of law, Daniel's work included a stint as a high school teacher and coach and six years as an Exhibitor Services Representative for Freeman Decorating Company, one of the largest trade show contractors in the country. Daniel enjoys Crossfit (the principal strength and conditioning program for police academies, military units, and first responders), climbing, downhill skiing, and hiking with his growing family and two dogs Barnum and Bailey.
