J. David Taunton

J. David Taunton is now serving the greater Colorado Springs area. Specializing in Estate Planning and Management, Probate, Business Planning, Environmental/Water Law, DUI, DWAI, and related clients. David grew up in the small cotton mill town of Tallahassee, Alabama. There, he spent his time fishing and hiking the lakes and forest of the south with his grandfather. Of the many lessons he learnt from his grandfather, character was among the first. Now, he enjoys hiking and fishing the mountains of Colorado with his family. During law school, David was twice named a Knapp Scholar, recognizing leadership, and a Dean's Scholar, recognizing academic achievement.
