Lane Thomasson

“Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let every new year find you a better (wo)man.” — Benjamin Franklin Lane Thomasson brings to the firm extensive experience in the criminal justice system. She began her career as a deputy district attorney, focusing on domestic violence and sex assault cases. She then served as an assistant county attorney, advising county law enforcement officials and litigating dependency and neglect matters. Ms. Thomasson is focused on developing robust defense strategies and is committed to helping clients navigate the scariest times of their lives. She also represents civil litigation clients in southwestern Colorado. Ms. Thomasson graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law where she was senior editor of the Denver University Law Review and a member of the prestigious National Trial Team. She received her B.A. in English Literature at Smith College in 2006 and M.A. in International Peace and Security at King’s College London in 2007. When not in the office, you will likely find Ms. Thomasson backcountry skiing, mountain biking, or rock climbing with her boyfriend.
