Laura B Stein

Laura Stein is one of the founding partners of Plog & Stein, P.C. and currently serves as the managing partner of the firm. Her legal career started in 1997 clerking in the Denver Probate Court for the former probate judge, the Honorable C. Jean Stewart. In 1998, Laura left this position to start her own law firm, Plog & Stein, P.C. focusing primarily on probate matters but also representing family law cases such as divorce, child custody and child support matters. Over the years, with the growth of Plog & Stein, P.C., Ms. Stein has eased into the role of managing the financial and business side of the firm, as well as tending to client relations matters. Though Laura currently doesn’t maintain a caseload, she is always available to provide advice to clients and offer support to our attorneys and staff. Ms. Stein attended college at Tufts University in Boston, where she graduated with a degree in Clinical Psychology and Child Development. With a keen eye towards details and facts, Ms. Stein elected to attend law school in Nova Southeastern University in Florida. Before graduating early from law school in 1995, she engaged in an internship with the Internal Revenue Service. Ms. Stein is licensed to practice law in both Colorado and Florida. Laura Stein is currently the primary point of contact should clients have questions regarding billing and other financial matters. In her spare time, Ms. Stein enjoys being with her family, traveling and volunteering for various athletic, educational or school related endeavors.
