Natalie graduated with honors from the University of Montana in 1982 and obtained her J.D. in 1986 from the University of Denver. In 1986 she was admitted to practice in Colorado federal and state courts. Natalie joined the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association in 1986. As a member of CTLA, her peers elected her to leadership positions including the Board of Directors (1999-2005), Treasurer (2005-2006), Secretary (2006-2007;) Vice President (2007-2008); President-Elect (2008-2009) and President (2009-2010).
