Stephen J. Plog

Stephen Plog is the co-founder of Plog & Stein, P.C family law firm in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Plog has practiced family law for nearly two decades and enjoys helping his clients navigate the legal process, as well as fighting for the best possible outcome for themselves and their families. Steve has a great amount of knowledge and experience related to divorce and child custody cases to share with his clients and he also enjoys both complex legal writing and litigating in the courtroom. AS he continues in his family law practice, Steve looks forward to helping clients with all family law needs. Family law attorney Stephen Plog was born in Chicago, Illinois. After moving to different cities, his family settled in Las Cruces, New Mexico where he attended New Mexico State University. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a supplemental pre-law minor. Steve completed one year of course work toward a graduate degree in Public Administration, but rather than finishing it, he decided to move East and begin his legal studies. Attorney Stephen Plog graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 1997. After obtaining his law degree, Mr. Plog moved back West to Colorado with his twin brother, who also graduated from law school. In 1998 they decided to start their own law firm. The same year, Steve met his partner, Laura Stein, and in 1999 they formed Plog & Stein, P.C. Outside his law practice, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters. He also enjoys working around the house, golfing, being involved in his daughter’s swimming, and traveling with his family. Steve is an avid reader of trivia and useless facts and is considered to be a walking encyclopedia. He puts his semi-photographic memory to good use with his clients’ cases.
