About Eric Duey

Eric Duey is a young attorney that is excited at any opportunity to develop his talents as a lawyer and to hone his craft. After graduating from University of Connecticut with an degree in political science and economics, he attended the University of Connecticut's School of Law to earn his juris doctorate. While at in law school, Eric focused his studies on tax law, and interned with the Internal Revenue Service's Large Business and International Division, where he assisted the IRS in drafting arguments related to complex, multi-step business transactions and their tax implications. He also participated in the law school's Low Income Taxpayer's clinic, where he assisted indigent individuals with the settlement of tax debts before the IRS and the state, and was recognized for his efforts by the law school. Eric was also a member of the Connecticut Law Review, and wrote an article that printed in this same publication. Since graduation from UConn Law and earning his law license, Eric has been exposed to and practiced in a wide variety of legal fields, including drafting trust and estate instruments for clients, assisting in insurance defense cases, and defending workers compensation claims from inception to settlement. Eric currently focuses his practice on insurance subrogation, civil litigation, and municipal law.
