M. Catherine Healy

Ms. Healy advises employers and employees regarding nonimmigrant and immigrant visas and prepares visa petitions for submission to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. She has extensive experience working with a wide variety of employers who routinely utilize Ms. Healy's services to obtain multinational company transfers as well as H-1B work visas for their employees. Ms. Healy also represents both academic institutions as well as physicians themselves to obtain permanent residency through First Preference Extraordinary Ability Alien petitions, Outstanding Researcher petitions and National Interest Waiver petitions. Further, Ms. Healy has had great success in obtaining J-1 visa waivers for numerous Physicians. Ms. Healy is a member of the Connecticut and Massachusetts Bar Associations and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Finally, Ms. Healy's practice involves family based immigration law where she represents clients with their marriage petitions and fiancé visas. She has also successfully handled many I-601 Hardship Waivers. She further represents clients before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service for Citizenship cases. Ms. Healy received her B.A. in political science from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and her J.D., cum laude, from New England School of Law, where he acted as technical editor for the The New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement.
