A. Thomas S. Safford

A. Thomas S. Safford is of counsel in the Washington, D.C. office of Frommer Lawrence & Haug LLP. Mr. Safford's practice primarily comprises both U.S. and foreign patent and trademark prosecution, licensing, and client counseling including validity and infringement studies, trade secret protection and promotion, and unfair competition. The technical focus of his patent and trademark practice are in the chemical and mechanical arts, including petroleum, steel, construction and personal hygiene. Mr. Safford has been a guest speaker abroad on U.S. trademark and patent laws to client personnel, and to law students. He is a member of the American Bar Association, New York Intellectual property Law Association, American Intellectual Property Law Association, and the American Society for Metals.
