Tokay Hackett Esq.

Having served as an active duty and reserve defense attorney for the Army, Tokay is intimately familiar with the unique legal issues service members, veterans, and their families face. He has a passion for ensuring that Service members and Veterans are treated fairly and advocates zealously for this select group. As a member of the Military Practice group, Tokay handles cases involving non-judicial punishment, courts-martial, letters of reprimand, officer/enlisted separation proceedings and military divorce, discharge upgrades, among others. Tokay also works to protect service members against discrimination with civilian employers by enforcing employment rights through the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA). As a member of the National Security Law Practice Group, he helps navigate clients through the rigorous processes of gaining and maintaining security clearance, including filing SF-86 and DD Form 1879, interviews and interrogatories, as well as responses to Statement of Reasons, Letter of Revocation and Denial of Suitability. Tokay also represents clients before all military commissions and the Defense Office of Hearing and Appeals (DOHA), Department of Defense, FBI, CIA, DHS and all federal government agencies, including document and witness preparation.
