Brian LaBovick Esq.

Brian F. LaBovick was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on October 7, 1964. He was admitted to the Florida Bar; the Federal Bar in 1990; the U.S. District Court Southern District of Florida in 1993 and the U.S. District Court Middle District of Florida in 1993. Mr. LaBovick obtained a Bachelor of Philosophy degree at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, in 1987, and a Juris Doctorate at the University of Miami School of Law in Florida in 1990. He began his legal career in the prestigious Honors Graduate Program as the United States Department of Justice as a prosecutor in 1990. At that time he was hired to prosecute criminal aliens throughout Florida. In 1992, Mr. LaBovick founded Brian F. LaBovick, P.A., a sole practice, initially handling civil, commercial and criminal cases, including securities litigation, bankruptcy, dissolution of marriage, and criminal defense. In 1993 the practice moved from Coral Gables to Jupiter, FL in Palm Beach County. After the firm moved to Jupiter, the firm changed its name to LaBovick and LaBovick, P.A. and began to specialize in the following areas: personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, products liability injuries, and pharmaceutical drug injuries. Over the years, Mr. LaBovick has represented thousands of injured people and workers from all walks of life. He has negotiated claims from the most basic automobile accident to the most detailed cases such as medical malpractice, wrongful death or catastrophic injury cases. Prior experience as a licensed insurance agent has provided Mr. LaBovick insight into how insurance companies handle and settle cases. In addition to his active trial practice, Mr. LaBovick has managed to serve in leadership positions in many professional organizations. Mr. LaBovick served as president of the North Palm Beach County Bar Association, as well as a director of the Palm Beach County Trial Lawyer's Association. He is currently an Eagle Sponsor of the Florida Academy of Trial Attorneys and the American Trial Lawyers Association. The honor was bestowed upon him to serve as a member of the Florida Bar Family Rules Committee by special appointment. Over the years, Mr. LaBovick has managed to serve in leadership positions and be actively involved in several local charities including: North Palm Beach County Section of the American Cancer Society (Director), Temple Beth Am in Jupiter, FL. (Treasurer), The Benjamin School of Palm Beach (Board Member) and The Quantum House of Palm Beach. Mr. LaBovick has an “AV” rating from Martindale- Hubbell. He is a member of the National “ Belli Society”, a charitable organization of trial attorneys that promote the study of law through legal research and lectures. Mr. LaBovick is also a member of ACIA, Academy of Catastrophic Injury Attorneys, an organization of the nation’s leading plaintiff’s personal injury litigators.
