Carol A. Kartagener

Carol A. Kartagener is Board Certified in Marital and Family Law. In addition, Carol is also a skilled litigator and engages in the practice of commercial and general civil litigation. Affiliated with Weiss, Handler & Cornwell, P.A. for over 26 years, Carol has numerous reported opinions to her credit. A tireless worker, Carol is a caring, effective advocate for her clients. She has been selected for inclusion by Who's Who in Executives and Professionals. Carol commenced her legal career with a prestigious judicial clerkship with The Honorable Norman C. Roettger, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She was also appointed and served as a Special Master and a Guardian in Broward County, Florida. In 1993, Carol reportedly had the largest verdict of any commercial case in Broward County, in an amount in excess of $11 million dollars, which included a $7 million punitive damage award.
