Caroline Nitsche Carlson

Caroline Nitsche Carlson is a Partner in Chartwell's Miami Office. She graduated, magna cum laude, from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida where she received a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and History. In 1988, Ms. Nitsche Carlson graduated, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where she served as Report's Editor for the Inter-American Law Review. Ms. Nitsche Carlson served as a legal intern in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida for Judge James W. Kehoe and was an associate at the Miami offices of Katten Muchin & Zavis & Dombroff & Gilmore. In 1996, Ms. Nitsche Carlson co-founded the firm of Pivnik & Nitsche, P.A. and for over 14 years has represented carriers and self insureds throughout Florida in all types of general liability claims including: auto and truck accident cases, shipping, product liability, construction defects and matters involving premises liability, including slip and fall, inadequate security, wrongful eviction, false arrest, assault and malicious prosecution. Ms. Nitsche Carlson also provides clients with advice and counsel on first party and third party coverage matters. She is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit & County Court Mediator. Ms. Nitsche Carlson lectured for a semester at Barry University, on Legal Research Methods and is fluent in Spanish.
