D. Hugh Kinsey Jr.

D. HUGH KINSEY, JR. is a native of Fort Myers, Florida and has practiced law here since 1992. Hugh became a partner of the law firm of Sheppard, Brett, Stewart, Hersch, Kinsey & Hill, P.A. in 2000. He holds Bachelor of Arts (1989) and Juris Doctor (1992) degrees from the University of Florida. Hugh practices primarily in the areas of real estate law, guardianship law, estate planning, and probate and trust administrations. Hugh is a member of the Florida Bar Association (Probate, Real Estate and Guardianship Section) and the Lee County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida. He is involved with several local philanthropic organizations, including the United Way of Lee County and The Southwest Florida Community Foundation. Hugh enjoys a B-V rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Hugh is married to Terri, an administrator for the School District of Lee County. Hugh and Terri have a young daughter, Heidi, who keeps them busy.
