Dain C. Akin

Dain C. Akin is an attorney admitted to practice law in Florida and Ohio. He is also an inactive certified public accountant. He represents clients in real estate and commercial litigation matters at Akin Law P.A. Dain has practiced law for 45 years in various roles, including in-house counsel and general counsel for different real estate syndicators, developers, and multitier financiers. He applies his extensive operational knowledge to assist clients with all types of issues. He is skilled at advising clients in entity selection and governance, tax credit real estate development, corporate mergers and acquisitions, real estate restructuring, workouts and bankruptcy, and general corporate and partnership taxation matters. Dain also consults with the firm’s family law attorneys in cases where assets involve interests to ensure that the client’s interests with respect to those assets are protected.
